Editors’ ‘End’ U.S. Bound

The band's sophomore album An End Has a Start will arrive in U.S. shops this July.

Attention U.S.-based Editors fans! As previously reported, the Brit quartet will release An End Has a Start, their highly-anticipated sophomore album and follow up to acclaimed debut The Back Room (one of Spin’s 40 Best of 2006), to U.K. outlets June 25. But now, the quartet have slated a U.S. release date: July 17 via Epic/FADER.

The ten-track disc, produced by Garret “Jacknife” Lee (U2, Bloc Party, Snow Patrol), will offer tunes like “The Weight of the World,” “Bones,” and “Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors,” the latter acting as the album’s first single, which U.K. fans can inhale June 18. Although complete details have not been announced, an extensive U.S. tour is in the works for fall.
