Tour Updates: Wilco, El-P

Wilco have announced an 11-date North American tour in support of Sky Blue Sky, the band’s sixth studio LP, which drops May 15 via Nonesuch. The tour, following an extensive run through Europe, will kick off June 13 in Davenport, IA, then log a June 17 performance at Bonnaroo, before playing assorted cities up and down the East Coast. Jeff Tweedy and company will wrap their tour June 30 in Toronto.

In additional tour news, El-P has confirmed an lengthy North American run in support of his acclaimed fourth effort, I’ll Sleep When You’re Dead, Pitchfork reports. Commencing with an April 27 appearance at Coachella, the tour will then guide El-P through the Northeastern and Midwestern U.S., hitting cities such as Cleveland, Detroit, and Chicago, as well as heading north-of-the-border for a pair of shows. Next, the seminal New York City MC will descend the West Coast, hit cities like Albuquerque, Houston, and New Orleans, and cap with a June 8 performance in Washington D.C.
