Velvet Revolver, the moniker of former Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland and the remaining Guns N’ Roses outcasts, have announced a 12-date tour to preview material from the band’s forthcoming album Libertad, out July 3 on RCA. Next, the jaunt will lead Velvet Revolver up the West Coast, stopping through San Francisco and Seattle, then skip midway across the nation to Chicago and Detroit.
