Collabo go-to-guy and baby mama drama victim Eminem, a.k.a. Marshall Mathers, is reportedly in talks with concert promoter Live Nation to purchase St. Andrew’s Hall, the legendary Motor City venue and site of the Shelter, the basement space lionized in Mathers’ film 8 Mile. According to AllHipHop.com via The Detroit News, Mathers and his manager Paul Rosenberg will manage the downtown venue’s overall operation while the existing employees would continue to run the daily tasks of the club if a deal is struck. No financial details concerning St. Andrew’s’ purchase have been disclosed. A Live Nation representative could not be reached for comment at press time.
