Don’t Say ‘Goodbye’ to the Postmarks

Miami indie-pop outfit the Postmarks join Ladytron’s Reuben Wu, a.k.a. Spookey Ruben, for the lovely hypnosis that is “Goodbye,” one of the many facelifts the song receives on the trio’s Remixes EP. While James Iha and Tahiti 80 provide their own foxy rhythms to this misty ballad, Ruben’s glossy touch, complete with twitchy drum’n’bass loops, chugging guitar riffs, and lite synth beats, adds a bit of sex appeal to the Postmarks’ overall luminous sound. Vocalist Tim Yeheszkely’s smooth, honeyed vocals get an extra oomph here, too. Fans of the Cardigans, Broadcast, and the Mosquitos, get ur freak on with the foxy orchestrations of Remixes EP, available only at iTunes.
