Black Rebel Motorcycle Club has announced a U.S. tour in support of the May 1 release of Baby 81, the alt-rock trio’s fourth long-player and second effort for RCA. Kicking off May 6 in San Diego, CA, the tour will then lead the shadowy rockers, with the Fratellis in tow for the first six dates, up the West Coast, then through America’s midsection. Next, BRMC will gig in major East Coast cities like Boston, New York, and Philadelphia before wrapping with a jaunt down the coast.

In additional tour news, Brazilian pop vocalist Seu Jorge, who acoustically covered a David Bowie tunes for The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, has confirmed a string of North American summer dates, BrooklynVegan.com reports. Jorge will play an assorted 13-date tour, hitting cities like Philadelphia, New York, and Toronto as well as West Coast outposts like Vancouver, Seattle, and San Francisco, among others.
