English rapper and producer Derek Andrew Safo, a.k.a. Sway, has announced his collaboration with “Smack That” MC Akon and sought after producer Pharrell Williams for his yet-to-be-titled forthcoming album, Soundgenerator.com reports. “The work they have produced in the studio over the years is second to none,” Sway told Soundgenerator.com about his newfound musical teammates. “The results are going to be massive.” As a colleague of fellow Brit hip-hoppers the Mitchell Brothers and the Streets, Sway has also solidified his presence as a respected producer, twisting knobs for the likes of Chamillionaire and legendary ska revivalists Madness.
