Elvis Costello Compiles 'Best Of'

Hip-O/Universal Music Enterprises is gearing up to release two retrospectives by singer/songwriter Elvis Costello. The greatest hits collection The Best of Elvis Costello: The First 10 Years and Rock and Roll Music, an assorted bag of previously unreleased tracks and b-sides compiled by the musician himself, both hit store shelves May 1. That same day, Costello’s first eleven original albums will be made available for download exclusively via iTunes for 30 days before being issued to all digital music outlets. Interactive booklets featuring album art will also be included. As previously reported (read more), Elvis Costello and the Imposters will head out on a ten-date tour this May, hitting cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York.
