Nice guys finish last, but in the case of Athens, GA’s pop rock kings Modern Skirts, they might be getting the better and healthier end of the deal. According to guitarist Phillip Brantley, “It’s kind of terrible. The previous owners of our van [which still remain nameless] were notorious for having lots of sex along the way, but we have yet to get any.” But, when you’re hauling this much charm and class around the country, things are always sure to turn around.
