Radiohead Returns to Studio

Braving hurricane force winds that battered England today, Radiohead returned to their studio to resume recording efforts following a month-long holiday break, a website post confirmed. Dead Air Space, a section of the band’s website that often features album updates and frontman Thom Yorke’s political ramblings, revealed Radiohead were laboring “on a version of 15step,” a possible track from Radiohead’s next album, tentatively dropping later this year. In addition, Yorke — an outspoken opponent of nuclear proliferation — invited fans to sign a petition, which aims to force the U.K.’s prime minister to champion nuclear non-proliferation over arms build-up.
