Johnny Cash Belongings Booked for Auction

Personal belongings of the late country singer Johnny Cash are set to hit a Scottsdale, Arizona auction block Jan. 21, NME.com reports. Among other items, fans and enthusiasts will have the opportunity to bid on the Man in Black’s credit card, passport, and a handwritten “to do” list, which includes tasks like “Kiss June” and “Not smoke.” Cash’s cowboy boots, western shirts, the jumpsuit worn during his rehearsals at the 1969 San Quentin State Prison concert, as well as hand-written lyrics for “Don’t Slam the Door” and “Water From the Wells of Home” will also be up for auction.
