Red Hot Chili Peppers will temporarily supply two of their colossal tunes to, well, colossal rides at Disneyland. Running Jan. 3-April 26, the Anaheim, CA amusement park’s Space Mountain will be soundtracked by the Chili Pepper’s 1989 Stevie Wonder cover “Original Ground,” and California Screamin,’ the longest steel-looping rollercoaster in the world, will twist and turn to the band’s 1999 hit, “Around the World.” Both tunes were remixed for the rides by Ryan Hewitt — the man behind the boards on many Chili Pepper tracks — and have been specially fiddled with to coincide with the rollercoasters’ moves.
