Foreign Islands Know You Want to Download Their New Song

Refueled and recharged, Brooklyn’s Foreign Islands are set to release Restart Now! Feb. 20, the follow-up to their 2005 self-titled debut. You see, having their tunes dance through the NYC scene night after night while legions of club kids lurched along to their spunky, punky dance anthems must have take its toll. But with lead single “We Know You Know It,” the band is bringing back their dance party-ready tunes. The song boasts infectious handclap zaps, synthetic screeches, hyper-speed rhythms, and the earnest yelp of singer Mark Ryan, who meditates on, as he put it in a statement, “some hardcore-type dudes just overstaying their welcome.”
