Bloc Party’s anticipated sophomore release, Weekend in the City, won’t drop until Feb. 6, but the band are giving fans a sneak peek at that album’s driving, ever-danceable sound with “Prayer.” “We really pushed ourselves to the limit of what we were doing as a band,” frontman Kele Okereke said in an MP3 interview being circulated by his group’s label, Vice. “‘Prayer’ is really just the direction I think we’re going in as a band.”
