Snoop Turns Himself In

Snoop Dogg turned himself into police Monday on charges of possessing a deadly weapon. The rapper, who had attempted to carry a collapsible baton on a flight leaving Orange County John Wayne Airport Sept. 27, posted $150,000 bond and was released. “He turned himself in this morning,” county sheriff’s spokesman Jim Amormino told Reuters. “He was booked, fingerprinted, had his photo taken and an arrest report was filled out.” While possession of the baton could have been considered a misdemeanor, Reuters reports the rapper was charged with a felony based on his criminal record.
