It’s a Girl for Sofia Coppola!

Coppola and Phoenix vocalist Thomas Mars welcomed baby girl Romy into the world yesterday.

Tuesday (Nov. 28) marks another collaboration between Sofia Coppola and French musician Thomas Mars of synth-rock band Phoenix, but this time it doesn’t involve music or film — it’s a baby. E! News reports that Coppola gave birth to the couple’s first child, a girl, named Romy after Coppola’s brother Roman. The couple was brought together by Coppola’s film Lost in Translation, for which Phoenix contributed to the soundtrack.
