Hold Steady to Tour Steadily

If you can't see them on tour, catch the Plug Award-nominated quintet on TV or the radio.

Brooklyn’s bar band darlings the Hold Steady have announced plans to tour behind their latest release, Boys and Girls in America. The quintet will take the critically-lauded LP, which has earned them four nods for 2007’s Plug Awards (Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, Live Act of the Year, Indie Rock Album of the Year) and a No. 123 slot on Billboard’s Top 200, to Philadelphia tomorrow (Nov. 21) before hitting cities like Orlando, Iowa City, and Cleveland. They wrap up their road trip Dec. 15 in Northampton, MA, but if you can’t catch them live, check your DVR and radio for Hold Steady action from Jimmy Kimmel Live, CNN Headline News, and NPR’s “All Things Considered.”
