The Times They Are A-Changin’, a Broadway musical centered on the songs of Bob Dylan, will close later this month after a critical battering. The closing, which Village Voice columnist Michael Musto called a “mercy killing,” comes just a month and 28 performances after opening, according to Reuters. The show, which was about a struggling circus, was conceived and choreographed by Twyla Tharp, who spearheaded the successful Billy Joel musical Movin’ Out. It will close Nov. 19.
