Snoop Dogg Caught with ‘Dangerous Weapon’ on Flight

Snoop Dogg may be charged with carrying a weapon after authorities found a 21-inch collapsible baton in his bags at California’s John Wayne International Airport as he was about to board a New York-bound flight. The rapper said the baton, which was in his laptop case and is classified as a dangerous weapon, was a prop for a movie he was filming in New York. District Attorney spokesman Susan King Schroeder told the AP that her office just received the sheriff’s report of the event, which took place Sept. 27, yesterday, and said prosecutors had not decided whether to charge the rapper. Snoop has had other airport brushes with the law: In April of this year, the rapper was banned from entering the U.K. after a melee at London’s Heathrow Airport.

Talk: With the myriad issues Snoop seems to have in airports, should he just stick to traveling via tour bus? COMMENT
