Round Two for Vegoose

Now in its second year, Vegoose is ready to hit the jackpot again this upcoming Halloween weekend at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The rock-filled line-ups, special night concerts, and activities you couldn’t find anywhere else have pulled music lovers from all over the country to Sin City.

Going off the hype still lingering from last year’s festival, 2006’s Vegoose features a line-up for all music enthusiasts. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Killers, the Mars Volta, the Raconteurs, Fiona Apple, the Black Crowes, the Roots, Gomez, Jurassic 5, Built to Spill, Band of Horses, and others will descend upon the desert city this weekend. And since Vegas never sleeps, Vegoose has night shows taking over the best venues on the Strip. Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will bring their acoustic magic to MGM, Damien “Jr. Gong” Marley is playing (appropriately?) at the Hard Rock’s Joint, and Keller Williams will be getting down House of Blues style. When there is a break between bands, Vegoose attendees will be able to take part in a costume contest, check out lewd burlesque shows, and even get hitched at the Vegoose Wedding Chapel.

SPIN.com will be in Vegas at the festival all weekend, providing live coverage with their team of college correspondents from Arizona universities. Be sure to visit spin.com/vegoose06 for constant updates! KELLYN JOHNSON
