New Video from Agent Sparks

Watch the partially-animated video for "Polly Anne" off the band's full-length debut.

L.A.-based Agent Sparks have released the video for “Polly Anne” off their debut full-length, Red Rover. The song has big, gritty riffs that never obscure its catchy hooks or sweet boy-girl melodies, which are especially delightful on the song’s come-down coda. Lyrically, the track focuses on the tragic “accident life” of its title character, and the partially-animated clip reveals that Polly Anne is the child of glamorous yet unhappy parents. She grows up on the red carpet with the public fixated on every aspect of her — from her ankles to her knees to her nose — and, ultimately, the video suggests our heroine might be no greater than the sum of her parts.
