The Boggs won’t release their third LP, Forts, until next spring, but they’re already granting you a sneak peek at that album’s entrancingly brittle indie rock sound with “Arm In Arm.” As a bonus, the good folks in Boggs — multi-instrumentalist songwriter Jason Friedman, Au Revoir Simone’s Heather D’Angelo, and Enon’s Matt Scultz — are also delivering a version of that song remixed by synth-rock maestros Hot Chip, who morph the track from a heavy, multi-layered rollick with experimental flair into a rubbery, danceable affair.
