Modest Mouse Plot Shows, Push Back Album Release Date

Modest Mouse are going bi-coastal this November, playing four shows in Los Angeles and five dates in New York City. In L.A., the band will play Avalon, the Wiltern, and the Grove of Anaheim, while in Manhattan, they’ll hit the Nokia Theatre, Webster Hall, and Bowery Ballroom. In between, they’ll play the Bang festival in Miami on Nov. 11. In other MM news, the band’s forthcoming album, We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank, originally set for a Dec. 19 release, has been pushed back to early 2007. The band plan to plot a world tour in support of the album’s release.
