Nightmare of You Give Hair-Raising Performance

Nightmare of You honored a select group of fans last night at Manhattan’s Crash Mansion, making them extras in their webisode for Styling Line Garnier Fructis. The Long Island four-piece, who bring back a classic Cure sound with Squeeze-inspired vocals, will be featured singing their latest single “My Name Is Trouble” on Garnier’s website Oct. 20th. The band also treated the crowd to fan-favorites “I Want to Be Buried in Your Backyard” and “The Days Go By Oh So Slow.” Though they recently wrapped a tour with AFI, NOY isn’t taking a break any time soon. Frontman Brandon Reilly gave SPIN.com the exclusive scoop on the band’s next project: “I’m in the beginning stages of writing for a new album,” he said, adding that he hopes the next full-length will have a broader focus. “I want my songs to touch on everything.” STORY BY KATIE HEATH.
