Knife Re-release First Two Albums in the U.S. on Halloween

Fans of Swedish duo the Knife will get an extra treat this Halloween, as the group’s first two albums will be made available for the first time in the U.S. Mute will re-release 2001’s The Knife and 2003’s Deep Cuts, which will feature five bonus tracks, including a remix of “Hearbeats” by Rex the Dog and a remix of “You Take My Breath Away” by Mylo. The DVD boasts six videos and a short film called When I Found the Knife, by Frau Rabid. Both albums will be released the night before the band play their first U.S. show, taking the stage at New York’s Webster Hall during the CMJ Music Marathon.
