Jay-Z Album Details Surface

The music industry's busiest retired man puts down that issue of AARP and picks up the mic on his new single, "Show Me What You Got."

After three years of retirement, Jay-Z is brushing the dust off his mic and readying a new album, set for a Nov. 14 release. The as-yet-unnamed album will be led by a new single called “Show Me What You Got,” which should hit radio waves in October, Def Jam sources told hip-hop site SOHH. The site also reports the clip for the single will be directed by F. Gary Gray (Friday, The Italian Job). Meanwhile, rumors are circulating that producers like Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Kanye West, and Coldplay’s Chris Martin will twiddle knobs on the rapper’s first album since 2003’s The Black Album.
