Jakob Dylan Pens TV Theme

Jakob Dylan has written and recorded the theme song for the ABC drama Six Degrees, a new show from the producer of Lost that explores the theory that everyone is connected through six degrees of separation. The Dylan track, “Here Comes Now,” was produced by Steve Lillywhite (U2, Dave Matthews) and will debut with the season premiere of the show, Sept. 21 at 10 P.M. EST. New Dylan material, including the songs “Stardust Universe” and “No Matter What,” will also be used in early episodes. “[Producer] J.J. [Abrams] and his team make such great and innovative television, and I was instantly intrigued by their plans to make music such an integral part of the storytelling of Six Degrees,” Dylan said in a statement. “Plus, J.J. promised me that I can see episodes of Lost before anyone else, but that had nothing to do with my saying yes.”

The show follows six New Yorkers who are unaware of the impact they are having on one another as they go about their daily lives, and stars Erika Christensen, Jay Hernandez, Bridget Moynahan, and others.

Talk: Remember “One Headlight”? Man, that song came out a while ago. COMMENT
