The Jackass crew catapulted itself to the top of the box office this weekend, as Jackass: Number Two debuted at No. 1 on the box office top 10 with more than $28.1 million. In the second installment of the Jackass movies, Johnny Knoxville and Co. — Bam Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Ryan Dunn, et al — willingly submit to stunts like being gored by a bull, swallowing horse semen, and being used as human shark bait. No wonder the flick beat another new release, Jet Li’s Fearless, for the top spot — who wants to see someone rock disciplined martial-arts techniques when you can watch Knoxville get catapulted over a lake while hanging on to a rocket for dear life?
