Modest Mouse will release their first album since 2004’s Good News for People Who Love Bad News Dec. 19. We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank features former Smiths guitarist, Johnny Marr, who has been made an official member of the band. No tour dates have been announced yet for the band, who opted to postpone their August tour to continue work on We Were Dead, but fans can still catch Isaac Brock and Co. when Modest Mouse play the Bang! Festival in Miami Nov. 11.
