Queens of the Stone Age Back in Studio

After the successful release of 2005’s Lullabyes to Paralyze, his fifth album with Queens of the Stone Age, Josh Homme is back at work in the studio, NME.com reports. While he and his other QOTSA bandmates write material for the next album, Homme has also found the time to start another project, the 5.15ers. Completing the band is Chris Goss, who has previously collaborated with Homme on both his Desert Sessions projects and production with Kyuss, Homme’s first band. The 5.15ers will concentrate more on playing live than recording an album, but have yet to perform. The godfather of stoner rock earned the title of father in January, when rocker Brody Dalle of the Distillers gave birth to their baby girl, Camille.

Talk: Should Homme just focus on QOTSA, or do you dig his other endeavors?
