Canadian techno producer Tiga got his start spinning in Montreal and releasing a couple of successful mixtapes and instrumental cuts, and now he’s finally set to release his own artist album. The DJ sings on all 14 electro-thumping tracks off his new album, Sexor, which hits stores August 29, and he even gets some help from Scissor Sister Jake Shears on “You Gonna Want Me.” Let’s hope he’ll accompany the album with hilarious music videos like the one he did for his 2003 cover of Nelly’s “Hot in Herre,” which partially aped the video for Justin Timberlake’s “Rock Your Body” — but with puppets!
