SPIN.com Picks First Warped Tour Winner!

SPIN.com has chosen its first winner in the Vans Warped Tour Reporter contest, making 19-year-old Evan Lucy a rock journalist for a day. The Raleigh, North Carolina resident posted a video letting us know why he should be chosen to attend a Warped Tour stop and interview one of the bands on tour. Tomorrow, Lucy will interview Motion City Soundtrack when the Vans Warped Tour stops in his hometown. Could you be our next big winner?

Check out Evan’s clip for inspiration and then record your own 60-second audition clip that lets us know why we should send you to report on the sights and sounds of Warped Tour 2006. If you’re chosen to interview a Warped Tour band, we’ll hook you up with press passes for the Warped date in your area and send you off to do your interview. We’ll post your interview online and, when all the entries are in, the fans will pick the best clip, awarding the interviewer a trip to cover next year’s opening date of the Vans Warped Tour.
