Primal Scream, one of the U.K.’s most influential dance-pop bands, are set to release their first album in four years. Riot City Blues, recorded over 10 days last June in London’s Olympic Studios, features guest spots from Will Seargeant (Echo & the Bunnymen), Warren Ellis (Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds), and the Kills’ VV. Having already debuted at No. 5 on the U.K. album charts, the U.S. version of the album will feature a few new bonus tracks. The band have also filmed a clip for the single “Country Girl” with Madonna’s fave director, Jonas Akerlund.
