Jurassic 5 Back with New Album

Four years after the release of their last album, Jurassic 5 are back with Feedback. Set for a July 25 release, the album will feature a collaboration with the Dave Matthews Band on the debut single, “Work It Out,” and a vocal from Mos Def on “Where We At.” Nu-Mark and Scott Storch were called in for production. “It’s a step up for us because we have been basically known as an underground group,” said MC Soup. “We’ve been known as a backpacker group. This album still has elements of that because that’s who we are, but at the same time we are also trying to step into another realm.”

A week before the album’s release, Jurassic 5 will kick off a U.S. tour, starting on July 18 in Seattle and ending Sept. 13 in Las Vegas.
