Foo Fighters fans breathed a collective sigh of relief when frontman Dave Grohl announced he is, in fact, not dead. Rumors of the singer/guitarist’s passing began circulating online last week with the following post: “The 34-year-old was discovered dead in his apartment around 8 o’clock by a close friend of the singer. Whilst the cause of death has yet to be confirmed, conspiracy theories are already running wild,” the post read. Grohl reportedly learned of the hoax when a friend called his wife to leave a condolence message. “I’m like a cockroach,” he proudly declared to NME. “I’ll be around for a long time.” The Foo Fighters embark on their nearly sold-out acoustic summer tour next month (read more).
