T-Mobile has yet to announce when they’ll launch the third version of their hugely popular Sidekick, but the rumors are building as to when the mobile phone/instant messaging/e-mail/web browsing device will be rolled out. Tech blog Gizmodo says a celebrity-filled kick-off party will help launch the gadget on June 20 in New York City, preceding a late-June street date and a major ad campaign featuring Beyonce. “T-Mobile does not comment on rumors,” a spokesperson for the company told Spin.com.
