After months of anticipation, the Red Hot Chili Peppers have finally released the details for their upcoming Stadium Arcadium tour.
On Monday (May 1), the band revealed the dates, cities, and venues for the first three North American legs of their world tour during a radio broadcast in New York, where they also previewed songs from Stadium Arcadium, which will hit stores on May 9.
The Chili Peppers will take the Mars Volta along for the trek, which kicks off on August 11 in Portland, OR and ends on November 5 in Minneapolis. Along the way, the band will make a stop at the Voodoo Music Festival, which they’re headlining on October 28.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, May 13, except for those in Boise, who, for some reason, can snag them up on May 12. Fan club membership and an iTunes account trumps a Boise address, though: Members get to purchase tickets starting May 7 and those who score the album via iTunes can buy tickets starting May 9.
