Digital Gnarls Album Released Early

We know you’re going “Crazy” waiting for the Gnarls Barkley full-length debut to hit stores next week, and evidently, the duo are too.

Maybe that’s why they’ve made the album available a week early via digital download. St. Elsewhere can now be downloaded on iTunes, but physical copies of the album won’t hit stores until May 9. It’s not a surprising move given that their single, “Crazy,” became the first track to reach No. 1 in the UK via downloads alone.

Cee-Lo and Danger Mouse, who wowed the crowd at Coachella last weekend with their Wizard of Oz-inspired set, are even hooking up those fans who would otherwise wait to buy the album in stores to check out the liner notes; iTunes is supplying a bonus interactive booklet to complete the album.
