Snoop, Entourage Arrested at Airport

Don’t ever tell Snoop Dogg he can’t sip his gin & juice comfortably in the first-class lounge, beeyotch!

Snoop and five members of his entourage were arrested at London’s Heathrow Airport yesterday after a melee that left seven police officers injured.

While at the airport to travel to Johannesburg, South Africa for a gig on Thursday, members of Snoop’s crew allegedly threw bottles of whisky at the duty free shop staff when they were told they were not allowed to hang in the first-class lounge, according to The Associated Press.

After police were called to “reports of a disturbance involving 30 people in a business lounge,” Snoop and his entourage were told they would not be permitted to board their flight. At that point, “a number of the group became abusive and pushed officers,” a police spokeswoman told the AP. Six members of the group were then arrested and forced to spend the night at various London police stations.

Snoop is currently battling a lawsuit that accuses him and members of his crew with beating up, robbing, and pouring liquor on a fan after he put his arm around Snoop while the rapper performed “Gin & Juice” during a 2005 concert. We’re not legal experts here at SPIN.com, but we’d wager this event won’t do much to help his case.
