Kanye Shares Spotlight at Bumbershoot, Abbey Road

Kanye West may not like sharing the spotlight, but he’ll have to give a piece to acts like a Tribe Called Quest, AFI and Hawthorne Heights later this summer when he performs Seattle’s Music & Arts Festival, Bumbershoot.

Yellowcard, Feist, Mates of State, Of Montreal, Metric, Nouvelle Vague, 3 Inches of blood, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, and a host of other acts will perform at the 36th annual three-day festival over Labor Day weekend.

Tickets go on sale July 15 at www.bumbershoot.org and Ticketmaster.

In other Kanye news, the Late Registration rapper will showcase his Beatles complex when he releases a live album and DVD of his 2005 performance at Abbey Road studios, according to NME.com.

Late Orchestration will also feature a performance from John Legend, as well as bonus videos and never-before-seen interview footage with West.

The double-disc set, which features West backed by a string orchestra comprised of 17 girls, will hit stores on April 24 in the UK.
