Kanye to Headline D.C.-Area’s HFStival May 27

Kanye West never met a festival he didn’t like – especially when he gets to wear the crown of “headliner.”

West will headline the opening date of the 17th annual HFStival, taking place May 27-28 in Columbia, Maryland. Also set to perform on the first day are Cypress Hill, Matisyahu, Rise Against, Panic! At the Disco, Matchbook Romance, the Misfits, Rock Kills Kid, OK Go, and more. Counting Crows will headline the second date, with acts including the Strokes, Dashboard Confessional, Coheed and Cambria, H.I.M., and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts also slated to hit the stage.

Not bad for a festival sponsored by a radio station that almost wandered off into the sunset last year when Infinity Broadcasting changed the station’s format to Latin pop. But now the legendary station has moved up the dial, and moved its offices to Baltimore.

Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.
