Mike Skinner, aka the Streets, brings more of his grimy troof on the lead single off his forthcoming album, The Hardest Way to Make an Easy Living, which lands on U.K. shelves today, and on U.S. ones April 25.
There’s always a story where Skinner’s involved, and this single’s no different as he laments the courtship (and bedding) of an English starlet. S Club 7’s Rachel Stevens and Girls Aloud’s Cheryl Tweedy have been mentioned as the inspiration for the female lead in Skinner’s tale, but the rapper hasn’t come out and revealed her identity — yet.
