My Chemical Romance, Life on the Murder Scene (Reprise)
My Chemical Romance continues to woo its fans this week with a double disc set containing more than four hours of footage of live performances, rarities, demos and more. Included in the set, which features a CD and a DVD, is footage from MTV2’s $2 Bill, Sessions @ AOL and more, as well as an 11-track CD (read more).

Lifetime, Somewhere in the Swamps of Jersey (Jade Tree)
Speaking of Jersey-bred bands, influential pop-punk act Lifetime releases a double-disc collectors set, featuring early singles, compilation tracks, covers and demos, as well as two versions of their long out-of-print 1993 debut, Background.

Editors, The Back Room (Fader)
These buzzed-about Brits, who performed nearly every day at this year’s SXSW, finally release their debut album on this side of the pond. One of Spin‘s Next Big Things for 2006. Check the March issue for more Next Big Things.

Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins realizes his dream of being a frontman this week with the release of Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders, recorded with Jane’s Addiction bassist Chris Chaney, and one-named guitarist Gannin (read more).

Ambulette, Lottery (Astralwerks)
Four-piece Ambulette came together when frontwoman Maura Davis, formerly of Denali, sent some home recordings to Chicago-based bassist Stephen Howard and drummer Ryan Raspsys. Almost two years after forming, the trio releases its debut EP (read more).
