Madonna Gets Hung Up at Coachella

Sure, you can shimmy to Franz Ferdinand and the Scissor Sisters, but if you really want to turn Coachella into a dance party, there’s just one person to call upon: Madonna.

Everyone’s favorite leotard-wearing Material Girl has been confirmed to perform in the Sahara dance tent, backed by a live band, organizers announced Wednesday. The April 30 show will be Madonna’s first performance at a festival.

Expect Madonna to leap around the stage in lavender leotards and legwarmers to the tune of her latest singles, “Hung Up” and “Sorry,” from her latest album, Confessions on a Dance Floor.

Already confirmed acts include recent additions Massive Attack and Daft Punk, as well as headliners Tool and Depeche Mode, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bloc Party, Matisyahu, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, TV On the Radio, and a massive lineup.

Tickets are still on sale for the two-day event. Click here for ticket info.
