Giant Drag has announced plans to re-release their 2005 album, Hearts and Unicorns with a brand new track: a cover of Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game.” Sand-covered Helena Christensen not included.
The version of Isaak’s classic track, covered by Giant Drag’s duo of Annie Hardy and Micah Calabrese, is largely faithful to the original version, with the addition of a grittier chorus and of course, a female vocal. (Listen: Real | Windows Media)
Giant Drag will take their shiny new tune out on the road as they embark on their first full-fledged U.S. tour this spring, supporting Pretty Girls Make Graves. They will also appear at Coachella.
