It’s Touch and Go for Ted Leo

Touch and Go Records announced yesterday that they will be adding Ted Leo to their roster of rockers. Ted Leo and the Pharmacists released three records with their previous label, Lookout! Records, and Leo had this to say about the move: “As sad as I am that circumstances have forced a move from Lookout! Records, I’m insanely happy and thankful to be able to make that move over to Touch and Go.” Leo went on to talk about how his punk beginnings in the Washington D.C. hardcore scene mirrored the punk beginnings of Touch and Go. “T&G’s history is my history, like Lookout!’s history is my history,” Leo said, “Believe me when I tell you that it is in this overly dramatic (granted), but absolutely true (none-the-less) spirit that I thank my lucky stars for all those that I have worked with in the past, and the ability to join Touch and Go to take it higher in the future.” Ted Leo will be on tour this March and is making three appearances at South by Southwest on March 16, 17 and 18 before running off to Coachella on April 30.
