Franz, Death Cab Team for Tour

Franz Ferdinand and Death Cab for Cutie, the acts behind two of 2005’s biggest rock records, have paired up for a 22-date North American trek this spring. The bands, each of whom graced a Spin cover this past fall, will get started in Portland, Ore., on March 22 and wrap up back in the western half of the continent, in Calgary, Alberta, on April 26. Franz will continue on from there to the Coachella festival, where they’ll play on April 29.

A presale for tickets to the Franz-Death Cab tour commences Feb. 7-8 at each band’s official site — check the sites for each tour date’s presale kickoff. Tickets go onsale to the general public Feb. 10-11.
