Wu-Tang Dedicates Tour to ODB

The Wu-Tang Clan is coming back together from disparate corners of the world to pay tribute to their fallen brother, Old Dirty Bastard. “The staff got together and we was like, ‘Yo, we need to all go out and show the people we’re still one,'” Wu-Tang member Raekwon told MTV.com. “At the same time, this is in the honor of my beloved [ODB]. We got to do it.” Some of the proceeds from the Wu tour will go to ODB’s family, which includes an alleged passel of illegitimate children. The Clan was back in the studio last year recording a new album, but they have not yet completed the project due to scheduling conflicts from their far-flung members. Raekwon will release his fourth solo LP, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2, later this year, with Busta Rhymes and RZA co-producing. The Wu-Tang tour kicks off Feb. 7 in New Haven, Connecticut.
