They gave a handful of cities a first impression of First Impressions of Earth earlier this month (read more), and starting on March 3, the Strokes will launch a tour giving plenty of cities the whole shebang. The Strokes North American tour starts off in the band’s hometown of NYC, and wraps on April 11 in Minneapolis. In February, the Strokes are touring through the U.K., with all dates already sold-out. Tickets will be available for the New York City show at Hammerstein Ballroom starting this Friday, Jan. 27; a presale has already sold out. In coming weeks, pre-sale dates will be announced for subsequent cities. The Strokes take the stage tonight in London.
