Arctic Monkeys Swing Through N. America

Arctic Monkeys, the most buzzed British exports since tea, are coming to American shores for eleven performances, including a pit stop at the South by Southwest festival. The tour, in support of the Monkeys’ debut album, Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not, kicks off on March 13 in San Francisco and wraps on March 29 in Seattle. The band’s SXSW performance is a blockbuster combination of Arctic Monkeys and fellow Domino labelmates Test Icicles (read more), the Beautiful Newborn Children, and the Archie Bronson Outfit. Whatever People Say I Am is out Feb. 21.
